I wonder if asio buffer size settings have any influence on measurements ? I have had mine in "safe mode/512 samples" but
tried reducing it down to the lowest wish is 8 samples and music is still playing just fine. Not tried any measurements yet.
Asio settings ?
Asio settings ?
Best regards. Bengt
Re: Asio settings ?
Very small Asio buffers are only required with realtime applications. If not necessary then greater sizes will reduce the CPU load.

Re: Asio settings ?
I would figure measuring as a real time application, that's why I'm asking.

Re: Asio settings ?
The sound device is always measuring in real-time. The buffer size just defines how many samples are collected before transferring the data to the CPU.
So the buffer creates a delay between input and output (of processed input data). With speaker measurement the input data are not sent to output again.
