Should a negative driver polarity be corrected within XO?

Hi Uli

One quick question: one of my drivers has a negative polarity.
Should I correct it by changing the XO impulse polarity to improve Room macros later-on or should I keep it like this and let Room macros do their job?

Macro4 will always correct an inverted driver polarity. There is no additional cost.
But I prefer to have all drivers with positive polarity in an active speaker setup . Thus I have never to think about a measurement at a later time.
I always connect the driver properly. I never use e.g. a XO with inverted polarity.

Thanks for your clear answer. This is what I did with my previous setup and I will do now with my new one: I will invert cables at the driver input.

So, I changed tweeters cabling at the tweeter side.

Following is the impulse of the 3 drivers with appropriate rotation per driver:
> Red impulse: before tweeter cabling inversion.
> Black impulse: after tweeter cabling inversion.

No need to add anything!
