Samplerate conversion
Samplerate conversion
Hello Uli,
If one wants to quickly test new raw XOs without room correction, is there a way to automate samplerate conversion without going through Macro 4, which requires a room pulse measurement file ? Converting samplerates manually (F10) may become quite a chore...

Re: Samplerate conversion
Francois,
simply select the desired samplerate, then run Generate - XO
Please untick the DelAllXO checkbox in the XO generator to prevent the deletion of existing XOs with a next XO creation.

Re: Samplerate conversion
yes, but it works only with absolutely raw filters, and the results are awful in my case with raw filters ...I need to modify most filters before use, so this solution doesn't help in my case

Re: Samplerate conversion
what about replacing the room measurement pulse with a horizontal or a target curve ?
Re: Samplerate conversion
Please note that in your opening question you have asked about
You can also use macro4 to do the job but then you need to use some "fake" measurement.
Apply Generate - Test Signal - length 65536 - set to 1 @ sample 6000, 1 sample length. Save as Pulse48L and Pulse48R
Rotate by TD-Functions - Rotation -6000 and save as Pulse48Linv and Pulse48Rinv.
Run macro4 including your modified crossovers
So my answer is valid for raw XOs indeed. If one wants to quickly test new raw XOs without room correction

Re: Samplerate conversion
Thank you Uli.
Indeed my question was not accurate enough...

Re: Samplerate conversion
Hello Uli,
What about using the "fake" measurement earlier, in macro 1 ? Would it allow to use a target curve for the filters generated in macro 4 ?
When doing so, according to CorTest.dbl, it works, but is there no hidden issue behind it ?
Best regards
Francois
