I'm very sorry, there is no discount. V1 has stopped.
BTW what about audio equipment in Brazil? Is it so much cheaper then here?

Re: Amplitude FDW Optimisation based on RT20/RT30 Analysis
1. you can edit the chart parameters - select the axes and change the minimum value of the height axis to -30 dB. So you can better measure the time at a given frequency, IMO best in top view. But obviously the STransform is different to the RT60 or RT30 time. So using the RT30 time derived from the...

Re: Amplitude FDW Optimisation based on RT20/RT30 Analysis
It is ok to use half the reverberation time of the RT60 value to get the RT30 value.

Re: XO and Time alignment
Hello Phil, sorry for a late reply. 1. delayed logsweep display: the delay can be caused by additional filters, e.g. XOs, by delays in the playback chain, e.g. some DSP time and sound travel time. So of course showing the momentary frequency of the recorded sweep may behave better but it needs some ...

Re: XO and Time alignment
Phil, simply think about: two drivers play together with crossovers. Now the XOs have a transition area where the two drivers cover the same frequency range. A time-alignment means that the sound of the drivers in this transition area match as best as possible. An additional driver linearisation tak...

Re: Amazing initial audible results...looking for advice on how to improve
Hello Michael, great :) It is difficult though to advise without further informations. So can you send me the measured pulses? Increasing the macro4 windows > 10 does not really make sense IMO. The ICCC value depends heavily on symmetry. So a better approach is to take care about a best symmetry (th...

Re: Save Multiway Filter WAV: bug?
Hi Phil, good catch. Indeed it is not a buggy coding in my program but a strange behaviour of a MS function. So the code indeed specifies the proper folder for the save dialog but the function does not use it. See e.g. explanation for lpstrInitialDir at https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/windows/win32...

Re: Virtual Bass Array
David, in a VBA setup the sound will travel from the speakers to the back wall (usually less than room length) and get reflected. So the reflected wave will travel back to the speakers. Now in the meantime the speakers can fire a cancellation signal at any time, its radiated wave will meet the refle...

Re: Virtual Bass Array
Hello David, I see more or less 4 categories of listening setups. 1. Best case: no back wall. The sound is passing the ears and then it disappers in nirwana 2. Very good case: a DBA cancels the waves and thus avoids standing waves. IMO a very good symmetric setup is required, otherwise the waves fro...
