The last step of filter creation is to examine the properties of the filter created with Macro 4. The filters are convolved with the measured impulse response and the predicted outcome is displayed.

By default, the filters are created in a subfolder called “Test Convolution”. It is possible to smooth the test result by selecting “Test Convolution” as the working directory with File - Project Workspace Definition and applying Macro 1. The smoothed predicted result Pulse48L/Rmp.dbl can then be compared with the measured impulse response.
